Two distinctly different groups of images – one public (manipulated images from daily newspapers), and the other private (mysterious and abstract, except for the evidence of a ceiling, a wall, a door) combine in a large grid, an expansive ghost story. A grid of “here” and “there” marks the distance between global events, and the highly mediated ways in which they are often experienced and understood – as images, from a distance.
